My mother has always told me, “do something with your life so you don't ever end up like me.me” But the thing is, I could never be as good as her, or even come close to being as independent and strong she is. My mother has always been my biggest motivation and always tries to push me to be the best version of myself. I find this funny, because even though I grew up with my father present in my life most of my childhood, it was always my mom playing both parental roles. It's not only because I was brought into the world, and completely changed her life at the young age of 16.

I always wish she could've had the life she wanted. even if it meant I wasn't here today. I've always thought to myself is that I’m currently 16 which is the age she got pregnant with me. How crazy would it be if I were to go though a teen pregnancy especially as a schooler. I know for a fact that I wouldn't even know what to do in a situation like that, or what to even buy for a baby when they're sick. It just shocks me how she was even able to pull through with it and come this far as a teen mom. So this has always been my on actually motivation to get somewhere in life and become something amazing. I want to do this not only just for myself and my future, but also because I wanna make my mom proud and return the favor for everything she has done and sacrificed for me.
